The camper is up for sale now on eBay- here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&&item=140229611622&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:MOTORS:1120
I should have posted sooner - the auction ends this Sunday at 7pm. We're hoping that since Wisconsin is a big camping state and it's the beginning of the season that we'll get a good price. Keeping our fingers crossed! Here is a picture of the house without the camper blocking the view!
Of course, since DH has been cruising around eBay, he found an old 1989 T-top TransAm- pace car that is in great shape for the age and milage. hmm.... I'm not quite the TransAm type, but I can respect his likes and dislikes. I'm just wearing a hat and dark glasses if I ride in it. I'm sure we'll own one at some point- he really likes them- he's owned a few cars that look like that- maybe one was a trans-am(?), the other was a camero- while in high school.
Okay- back to the house. While the drywallers were doing their thing, they threw their garbage, including extra/partial sheets of drywall out one of the second story windows to the dumpster- and of course one hit the house and dented and broke some of the trim around the garage door below it- so that was fixed this week, along with a few other things and the gutters were put on- now that the April showers are gone and the May flowers are blooming! Ahhh.... perfect timing as usual.
The contractor doing the driveway was supposed to start on Monday.... it's now Friday. Yep, you guessed it- not a word from him. Errrr....
In the midst of all of the above, my brother got married almost two weeks ago. Chad and I were both in the wedding, so his Mom watched Lily for us. Lily even sat still long enough for me to do her hair! :) We had a ton of fun- that was the most Chad and I have danced together probably since the wedding we met at! Of course, after a dozen+ shots, his evening ended earlier than mine, which was fine so I could help wrap things up. It's still crazy to think that my little brother is married! (he's 6 years younger than I am) Here are some pictures from that wedding.
Last weekend, some friends that now live in Colorado Springs had their reception at the Sprecher Brewery. They were actually married last September (on the day of Lily's 1st birthday party) and Maria is now 5+ months pregnant! The Sprecher Brewery was great- I had never been there before and was impressed! Saz's catered- awesome! The men especially loved it- BBQ ribs!!! How many brides eat BBQ ribs in their wedding dress?!?! Here are a few of those pics.
Lily's exciting news of the week is that she pooped on the potty for the first time last night! Yeah! No, I didn't take a picture of that- although someone just asked me if I did. I told them I was too busy trying to keep Lily from putting her sticker (for going on the potty) on the poo itself, instead of on the potty chair. I know it's early- she's not even 20 months, so I haven't made up the little chart for the wall yet- maybe I should get on that if it'll help her get the stickers to the correct place! Raising a baby/toddler/child has been/is/will be gross enough- I don't need to add "poo painting" to the list of gross and disgusting antics.
On that note... TGIF!!! We are ready to work work work on the house this weekend!
