Re-thinking that career change to tiling...

Thought I'd post a short update of where we're at... March 14th, we moved the kitchen table, LR couch, stove and refrigerator out of the first floor and have been working to install the heated tile floors ever since. I previously posted progress of the subfloor, laying the heating cables and the tile installation. Last week involved sealing the tile before grouting (supposed to make clean up easier...). Chad started grouting on Saturday- clean up that night was AWFUL!!! Luckily Sunday went much better. We are about 1/2 way done and hope to finish in the next couple days. A friend is supposed to come help tonight and Chad's Mom volunteered for Tuesday night. I definitely will not be switching careers to tiling- I still like to design it, but intalling it is just not very pleasant. My poor fingertips are just going to fall off- it hurts to type! And yes, I have a desk job- typing away at a computer all day. I'm hoping my nails grow back in two weeks for my brothers wedding! I haven't taken any new pictures of the house, so I'll leave you with more Lily pics- they are cuter than the house anyways!
Here is Lily "being nice" to Moscow (a.k.a. "Ka - cow")

Here is Lily riding Moscow.... notice he couldn't care less... just chewing away on his bone.
No comments on the stylin' window coverings... tapestries from my college days.
Here is Lily demonstrating her self-feeding skills...
...a vast improvement from this!
