Since I've been slacking on updating this for so long (not that I haven't had anything going on...), I decided to make this blog a picture montage. This first one is Lily's "new trick"- going behind furniture- she thinks it's sooo funny - until she gets stuck! It's so darn cute though, it's hard not to laugh.
Here is our future electrician checking out the inside of Daddy's work truck. He actually had picked up the carpeting pad on the way home from work and Lily was sitting between a few of the rolls. London is sniffing out the situation down in the corner.
Here is the tub "in the works" of "so easy, women and children could do it" (see last blog). It is complete now, as well as the floor. Well, almost- Chad thinks the grout is too light (not done yet in this pic) so we're going to stain it, then have to seal that and the floor and then the plumber will be back on Tuesday to finish his work. Oh, I also made us more work by accidently grabbing 2 different boxes of bull nose tile- we were only 4 short so just finished those up after the rest of the tub was done. Saturday morning our brother-in-law was finishing up the grout on the floor and the last 4 seams of the tub- Chad asked me to go find the tub grout- well, long story short- I grabbed the wrong color- so, tonight I get to chip out the grout (luckily only in those 4 seams), re-grout with the correct stuff and then stain all of it. We'll probably seal it Tuesday (luckily my day off) before the plumber comes that evening! Yeesh!
Lily was "helping" my Mom make treats for every one that would be helping us move on Saturday. It looks like she's trying to share with Grandma, too.
Here is the view from the mudroom into the kitchen to see the beginning of the cabinet/countertop installation.
Here is the same view after installation and move-in! Note all the boxes/bags, etc. - everywhere!
This is the view of our living room after move in - from standing where the kitchen table will go.
Rotate 45 degrees and the view back towards to mudroom and entryway.
Lily "helping" Daddy put the desk together in the office.

Hello Heather,
Well, I have to be honest. This is the first time visiting your blog. I browsed through the entire blog, looking at all the pictures and reading mostly everything else. I had no idea what a big project y'all have on your hands up there in Wisconsin. Looks like everything is coming together nicely. Are you going to keep this blog going until everything is finished? This is a good way for me to check it out. I don't think I will be back in Wisconsin until late summer, but I will definately stop by. Talk to you later. Say Hi to Chad and everyone.
Love,
Brent
